Art for Healing: Create Emotional Resilience After Hardship. Feel empowered to: Express feelings that can't be put into words. Use artful skills to cope after trauma. Find creative pathways toward hope.

Hi, I’m Samantha, your Therapeutic Art Facilitator and I’m here to guide you and cheer you on! Art is a fantastic tool to process emotions and discover new things about yourself. In the Art for Healing program, you will learn practical tools to manage stress after experiencing trauma. You will grow in confidence by strengthening your emotional resilience. We will use basic materials you may already have at home: colored pencils, paints, magazines for collage, colored paper and oil pastels. Willingness to try new ways of processing will open up new neural pathways and stimulate new perspectives! Some Art for Healing topics include: how to validate and process fear, anger, shame and overwhelm. We will also address your way of functioning in the world, self-image, boundaries within relationships, and your personal worldview. There will be guidance on how to alter and redirect emotions, and how to vision-cast for the future. Does this resonate with you? I’m here to support you on your journey toward resilience and hope!
